Hi, I'm Julie Conforti—entrepreneur, local business owner, and proud East Northport native. I grew up here, attended Northport High School, and carried my love of soccer all the way to Mercy College, where I played at the Division II level.
Dog grooming became my passion. I enrolled in a course at Nassau BOCES, and from the very first day, I knew I had found something special. With encouragement from my teachers and support from my family, I launched a small home-based grooming setup in East Northport, NY, with just one table, a tub, and a whole lot of heart.
Today, that little 4x4 corner has grown into a full-fledged grooming shop in Northport, built on passion, honesty, and a whole lot of fur. I still have over 20 original clients who've stuck with me since day one.
My dogs — Milo, Barney, and Toby — love greeting our furry friends, and our amazing team of dog groomers in Northport works hard every day to ensure every pup and pet parent feels safe, seen, and celebrated.

Our Policies
We want every visit to be smooth and stress-free — for you and your pup. Here's what to expect when you book with us.
Cancellation Policy
- Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment.
- Cancellations made the day before your appointment are subject to a cancellation fee.
- No-shows without notice will be charged the full grooming fee.
- Repeated late cancellations may require a deposit to book future appointments.
Pricing
- Pricing is based on breed, coat condition, size, and temperament.
- Matted coats requiring dematting will incur an additional fee.
- Prices are subject to change — we will always discuss cost before beginning.
- A $10 surcharge applies for dogs not seen in over 12 weeks.
Pick-Up & Notifications
- We will text you approximately 30 minutes before your dog is ready.
- Please text us rather than calling — we are actively grooming and cannot safely answer the phone.
- Dogs should be picked up promptly once you receive your ready notification.
- Late pick-up fees may apply after 30 minutes past notification.
Parking
- Parking is available at the K0 Shop located directly next door to us.
- Please feel free to use their lot when dropping off or picking up your pup.
Aggressive Dogs
- We offer one-on-one grooming sessions for aggressive dogs on Wednesday mornings.
- You must contact us before scheduling to discuss your dog's needs.
- These appointments are limited — please reach out early to reserve a spot.
- The safety of your dog and our staff is always our top priority.
Grooming Standards
- All dogs must be up to date on rabies and bordetella vaccinations.
- We reserve the right to stop a groom if a dog is in distress.
- Senior dogs and puppies may require shorter or split sessions.
- Please inform us of any health conditions or sensitivities before your appointment.
